Rajinder Randhawa was misrepresenting his garage location on a commercial auto policy application, and an audit revealed eight trucks belonging to the trucking company were listed as being garaged in Bridgewater, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald.

In truth, the trucks were located in Linden. By stating the trucks were being garaged in Bridgewater instead of Linden on the insurance application, Randhawa paid a much lower premium on the policy, authorities said.

The difference in the premium between what was paid and what would have been owed to the insurance company in a six-month time frame was approximately $231,43, authorities said.

Randhawa was charged with insurance fraud and releasing pending a court date, authorities said.
